- Add coarsely ground coffee to the clean, dry French press.
- Pour hot water over all the grounds, ensuring they are fully saturated. Start a timer for 4 minutes.
- Place the lid on top with the plunger pulled up. Let steep.
- After 4 minutes, gently press the plunger down slowly and steadily.
- Pour into a mug immediately to stop the extraction.
